I was doing a peper for my page on the education system, and came across a few pictures. Mrs. Colleen Cunningham was subbing for one of the teachers in my school so I showed them to her. this is what she said.

This is how schools are now. Not as bad with the discipline or intelligence I think, but for sure the creativity is a huge problem. They want all kids to act the same and that way is just how the adults want them to act. There is no creativity in children anymore.
I agree whole heartedly with this photo. Before parents held the children responsible for their actions and there grades. But today everything is the teachers fault. But it’s not it’s not their fault the child refuses to do work and goof off. It’s not just the kid’s fault it’s the parents as well. They don’t take responsibility for their kids; they just push it off as the teacher is not doing their job right.
I like this picture because of the little girl. I feel very strongly that there are things wrong with the education system especially the testing, as you remember from our interview. The system only wants you to focus on the test and not the creativity of school and life. But this little girl does not care; she would rather be different and creative than just thinking of the test.
The schooling system has become in a way like a cookie cutter especially the testing. The kids are support to conform to the test or school in general even if they cannot do it. And if they can’t the just fail the test. And they don’t really give kids help unless they fall under the very slim line like if they have severe mental disability. Even if you have a disability they could still make you do the regular test anyway. It’s not right it should be changed, but it probably won’t. Not with the government the way it is. The problem is the government doesn’t have anybody who has been a teacher or something like that so they don’t know what it is really like.
