Because I`m doing my independent study on Elementary Education, I have to opportunity to go to schools and see how different teachers teach for different grades and schools. I would like to be a teacher some day and this is a good way to see what its like to be in that kind of environment first hand not just hearing about it. But because this is I have never done this before I have no idea what to expect, or what I want to focus on while I`m there I would like to do some of everything (when and if its appropriate.)

 

 Things I would like to see/do

• See the Teachers teaching style

• See How the students act

• See How students and teachers act together

• See How a normal day in a classroom is like start to finish

• Observe the classroom/teacher

• Do hands on work with kids or teacher (when and if its allowed and appropriate
